ALEXANDRA BIRKEL

After more than ten years of experience with consultancies and international premium brands such as BMW, Louis Vuitton or Vitra, Alexandra Birkel established abdc in 2014.
Thanks to early immersion in an environment with a strong affinity for design – her parents ran a furniture store specialized in high class design brands – she maintains very close contacts with designers, influencers and multipliers of the industry.

The Munich-based communication expert has extensive know-how that enables her to successfully communicate design and luxury brands:
› Communication is through leadership. You have to position yourself as an expert with conviction and frequency and people will start to follow and believe what you have to say. From my point of view PR nowadays needs to reflect the increasingly diverse identity of media through different views of editorial topics and their potentials and aspects. She has a diploma in economics and marketing and received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in communications. Furthermore, she authored several publications on the subject of design and brand strategy.
